Hateful Abandon - Old News

OLD NEWS

9.08.2006: First of all, apologies to all that have been waiting for this album for a while. There have been many changes in the Hateful Abandon camp. ¶ Most importantly, Hateful Abandon is no longer a solo effort. Tom from bands such as Salute and Swine has joined the ranks and will have a huge input in the realisation of Hateful Abandon. ¶ The full studio sessions for this album are penciled in for the end of this month; we are aiming to get the full album recorded over one weekend, taking as little sleep as possible. ¶ I made a demo of one of the tracks yesterday, entitled 'Diamond Spine'; I have to say it's turned out to be one of the most depressing dirges I've ever heard. So fans of my older stuff may not be too turned off by my (relatively) new direction. ¶ An excellent photograph by Hakan from Total Holocaust Records has been chosen as the album cover, it's also the main picture on this site. My endless gratitude to him and his talent. ¶ Todestrieb Records and I are aiming for an Autumn release, though this is subject to change. Be sure to check the news regularly for updates.
22.11.2006: Recording for 'Famine (or Into the Bellies of Worms)' has been pushed back again currently for early two-thousand and seven. Subject to change, naturally. ¶ Hateful Abandon logo shirts still available for only £9.99. Todestrieb also have both cassette versions of "Never-ending..." and logo pins available.
